Where did the time go? I ask myself that question each time I look at my boys. It just seems like yesterday was the first time I held them and now they are nine and five. It just doesn't seem real. These years have rocked!
Speaking of rocking...August 21st, 2013, Deagyn's 5th bday...ROCKED! We had so much fun! I made my very first fondant cake and if I must say so myself(which I am)...it turned out quite cute. Batman was his big thing this year of course...Artic Batman...So I put my thinking cap on(okay I'm lying I used Pinterest LOL) and got to work.
He's been asking about his birthday for months. Everyday he woke up, he would ask if it was that day(that started in lets see...October of last year)...So finally his big day arrived and I have never seen anyone so excited!
We opened presents and then took he and Drayke to Putt Putt. Deagyn said that was the best day of his life. He says that everyday and in the moment, I have no doubt he's telling the truth!

Deagyn you have given me an amazing five years! You make life every bit sweeter and your laugh would brightens anyone's world, especially mine! I'm so glad God sent me you and your brother! You both are two perfect little boys!

That Saturday we had some of his very best friends over for a pool party! We had so much fun and all the kids had so much fun!!! Thank you guys for loving our Porkchop and helping to make his 5th birthday that much more memorable!
