Catching up on Christmas 2010

Omg I cannot believe its already a new year...I worked so hard to make sure Christmas was perfect, closed my eyes, and it was over...Makes me blue...

Christmas was awesome at our house this year...It was just the four of us and we had time to really enjoy each other and the exciting presents we got...I was able to capture some amazing photos so that we always have these "special moments" to look back on...

Drayke had someone tell him that there wasn't a Santa just a few days before Christmas came and I was so bummed...Of course I told him that kids mama was probably a criminal and Santa doesn't visit criminals(lol) but come'on...I had to say something...LMAO...However they both decided to watch The Polar Express on Christmas Eve...The little boy in the movie doesn't believe in Santa and eventually ends up running into him and Santa gives him a bell...He tells the little boy all it takes is to believe...So an idea came to me...I went out and bought some jingle bells and ran a black ribbon through one(because Drayke likes Boogie Blitzen) and a red ribbon through the other(Deagyn likes Rudolph)...I tied them around their Santa baskets and wrote a letter to them...Drayke had told me he wanted to believe in Santa so bad and I told him that is all he had to do...So I wrote in the letter telling them thank you for believing in him...Then I took it one step further...I got one of our friends that Drayke doesn't know well to call here Christmas morning pretending to be Santa and he asked both boys about their gifts! They were both stoked!

Just a few of our gifts:

Wil: PSP Case from the boys/Computer Camera and Mic from me/Magazine from Santa

Me: Bar stools recovered from Santa and Wil/Sarah Palin book from the boys

Drayke: Wii, Epic Mickey that Santa mailed to him a few days later from the North Pole because his remote control motorcycle was broken, a joker house, and some other things...

Deagyn: Thomas the Train Set, Dinosaurs, and  Thomas the Train Movie and other things...

Oh and they both got the softest blankets ever....Drayke's was Spider Man and Deagyn's was Thomas the Train...

We had set out cookies for Santa and the Reindeer and they chose to make Santa hot chocolate instead of cold milk because it was such a cold night...

Our family has never felt so complete...It warmed my heart to know that finally...we could start our own Christmas traditions! How special!
